Gardening Tip
Purple Leaf Plum Hedge gives you a unique purple leaf color in your hedge row or as a specimen plant. The best time to prune them is just after the pink blossoms fade in late spring. Prune the top third of the plant each spring to encourage lateral growth for width as opposed to just growing tall. Prune out any dead stems at that time as well for a full, healthy looking plant
