Gardening Tip
Daffodils often herald the end of winter and the start of spring when they come into bloom in April. Give them a well-drained site, at least a half day sun and plenty of moisture in the spring and they will last for years. Don't forget to let the foliage die back on its own and not cut it back; this is when the bulb is storing up energy for the next year. Plant with other perennials like daylilies to help hide the fading foliage. They tend to make a better display if you plant them in groups of 3 or more, rather than individually.
